Ferienmesse Wien 2023

The Austrians are infected with wanderlust again! Now the "Ferienmesse", Austrias largest holiday fair found a new date from 16. to 19. March 2023 instead of the usual January and was nearly as glossy as before. Of course also the Sharkproject Austria Team was there.

Fair-Fever in Austria 

Two fairs within two weeks kept the Sharkproject Austria Team really busy. After the "Boot Tulln" we could now present our projects at the holiday fair in Vienna. 

During the two years on hold, the holiday fair was totally reorganized. That's why we got a new spot for our booth. Before we were between the halls, where people haste through on their way to the Bistro and nobody has time to stop. Now we were in the Middle of Hall C, where you could see our TV with the shark videos already from afar. When coming nearer the people were also drawn by our blue lighted booth. 
Our roll-up saying "I'm gonna be away! Forever." was a grand conversation starter. 

Diving Safaris with Sharkproject

Suitable for the Holiday Fair we presented the Sharkweeks to our visitors. These are diving safaris in Egypt (usually the tour includes Brothers Islands, Daedalus, Elphinstone), wich are accompaigned by Sharkproject staff members. They hold evening-lectures and are there for all shark-related questions the guests can think of.

Offers for young and old

While on Thursday and Friday naturally the elders visited us, we were able to welcome many kids during the weekend. Especially the smallest of them impressed their parents with their already large knowledge about sharks. 

Next to our Michel-books and the shark plushies the most popular items this time were the Tasinibags. These are shopping bags that are produced from recycles fishing nets and can be stored in a little shark wrapping. 

As you an see on the pictures we had a lot of fun at the holiday fair. We are looking forward to your visit on the next fair!
