Hammerhead sharks shape the oceans—now we shape their future. We unite under the Hammerhead Coalition. Aligning science, closing loopholes, and strengthening shared knowledge.

At CITES COP20, we are bringing governments, scientists, and NGOs into one room with a shared purpose: turning evidence into action for hammerhead sharks.

The Hammerhead Coalition builds the pathway toward stronger international protections by combining current science, trade-monitoring experience, and on-the-ground enforcement insights.
Together, we are working to align data standards, strengthen capacity across regions, and reduce the international trade pressures driving these species toward collapse. This is a space for producer, transit, and consumer states to collaborate openly, exchange knowledge, and prepare the groundwork for a credible Appendix I proposal.

All delegations are invited to be part of this effort. Add your voice, contribute your expertise, and help shape a coordinated, durable future for hammerhead shark conservation.
