Volunteering gives me the opportunity to prioritise, in the hope that it will have a social impact.
The protection of sharks is important not only because of their undeniable ecological role, but also because of the enormous delay of so many years when they could have been adequately and progressively protected, but were not. This mistreated part of nature unfortunately needs special attention after so much damage has already been done.
Why I advocate for shark conservation
For me, it is simply a personal duty to play my own small role in protecting sharks. Especially after I have noticed such a huge deficit in public attention to this issue.
